Jeannie Seely, Country Artist - Tribute to a Grammy Winner

Corey Adams, a rising freshman defensive lineman for the University of Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed on July 19, 2025, in Cordova, Tennessee, at the age of 18.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office found Corey with fatal gunshot wounds inside a vehicle at an intersection in Cordova. Emergency teams pronounced him dead at the scene. Four other individuals were injured, but none critically.
A native of New Orleans, Adams starred at Edna Karr High School where he earned All-State honors twice. He enrolled early at Ole Miss this January, aiming to contribute to the Rebels in the upcoming season.
The shooting is being treated as a homicide. No suspects have been identified yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
Corey’s untimely death has left the Ole Miss, New Orleans, and college football communities in shock. His talent, character, and potential made him a shining young star whose life was cut tragically short.
