Born September 23, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas, Walter Scott Jr. and his twin brother Wallace moved to Los Angeles in the early 1960s. In 1963, they founded the legendary R&B group The Whispers alongside Nicholas Caldwell, Marcus Hutson, and Gordy Harmon.
